The past few weeks have been busy with me running my study to collect data for my thesis, going for networking in week 8 and rushing my Wednesday presentations.

All not very good excuses for not blogging huh? What about just not feeling like? Since there is nothing very much interesting going on in my life except for school work... The job hunt is not moving very well and I don't really have the time nor mood to really start looking... and the one mega thinge... I'm moving in mid March!!!

Ok.. So I did spent a couple of days here and there packing my stuff into boxes. Well.. it's been certified. I'm a hoarder... Tons of stuff that I packed away into my cupboards, never really knowing they were there until I start digging them out.

Was supposed to go to school today.. but I decided to clear out a cupboard until I forgot the time. and then decided it was too late to go down... Heh... I found boxes of the letters we exchanges in secondary school (I have a shoe box and a test tube box full of them!) Christmas/Birthday/Festive/Just-to-say-Hi cards from beloved friends. Programme booklets of concerts I attended and the list goes on...

Packing also unearthed some of my grandmother's treasures. Scraps of clothes that she had cut into squares and triagles, so that she could painstakingly sew them into a patchwork blanket/quilt for us. Looking at old photos of me when I was a wee little tot... More photos of grandma. Miss her so much! :)

It's gonna be a somewhat hellish 3 weeks... Rush data, rush thesis, rush ethics presentation, rush packing. Best to enjoy my last sem as much as I can.

I had a hair cut today... and did something I never really thought I would do - I highlighted my hair reddish using my natural colour as the base. Turned out quite well I think. Now my hair has this purply/maroon hue to it. So yeah... Quite happy with the job and I think the stylist who cut my hair was pretty good. All thanks to Yuanshan for her recommendation.

Other than that, it's been hanging out with the SN gals - from visiting our alma mater where we met 10 years ago, savouring orange bowl noodles whilst reminiscing about the good ol'days, to dinner and chilling out at Wala Wala, plus going for a hair job today. Nice!

Yeah... must make use of the time before Mabel goes off for her exchange to HK in 2 weeks. Its interesting how at least one of us SMU-ers have been missing at least once a sem for 3 consecutive sems due to exchange. And Shwen is back! So it's more hanging out to compensate for the soon-to-be one year absence as she heads back for her 4th year of study. Ade!!! Come back soon!

Need to ration out my chilling out time and to take out some time for work as I still have outstanding stuff to settle. It is time to get back to school mode, seeing how the NUS-ers and NTU-ers have started school liao.

So many things to settle in the new acad year. I think I booked myself onto an unforgettable ride. I just hope it is not the wrong decision. 2CUs, thesis, oral defense. These are scary words. To come up with and execute my own research project... Oh well... nothing is impossible after all.

Plus, I'm still deciding if I should carry on with the HR Training and Development module I got, or take on Finance just to learn more. If I do Finance, should I ask if I can audit the class or just bid for it outright? I'm not sure how Finance (or T&D) + 2 psych mods will work out in the midst of thesis preparation. But 2 psych mods seems very little. Haiz... decisions... Maybe I should just ditch the Finance idea...

On a side note, HK's still beckoning at the end of the year, which is good!

I think I'm finally done with the preparation for tomorrow's event. :)

Tomorrow, or rather, in a few hours time, SMU Rotaract will be going down to conduct a one day fun and experiential learning workshop for a group of children. The last few days were spent preparing/buying logs.

Oh ya.. was also busy looking for wings for Mabel's themed birthday celebration which was held at Mind Cafe yesterday! Shall update later... (Yeah.. I think I owe like 2 entries liaoz)

Hmmm... lack of updates. I've just been majorly chilling. Waking up late, playing computer games, slacking, catching Doha games highlights...

Got back results of 3 of my 4 mods... Heh... happy with them. :)

Other than that, I may be potentially starting a job soon, Mabel's 21st this weekend. Something on here, there, everywhere... and I still haven't started on youtube craz-ing yet...
